Something like gothic metal with a bit of atmospheric black influences sometimes, maybe even progressive rock. Reminds me soft melancholic tracks of Anathema or Lake of Tears but longer and more complicated.
Pleasant and melancholic, embracing and soothing. Pretty varied in sound, instruments and composition but easy to follow. And always somehow oddly satisfying.
I actually needed a second take on it because at first it felt like nothing special, just simple pleasant music in the background for one listen through.
But the more it went the more of enjoyable melodic moments appeared. And I fell for its mood, atmosphere and endless stream of fresh and interesting ideas. Captivating.
Awesome discovery. A lot of great tracks. Definitely going to check out more.
