It continues the trend of getting further away from doom and using more death metal.

Somewhat dark, sometimes depressive but mostly aggressive, doom metal is secondary.

The composition feels chaotic, almost disjointed. There're some interesting harmonies here and there but that's it.

I can't decide if it is better or not than the previous one. Probably, need to write about their older releases I like.
