I think, this one continues the trend of less symphonic influences and being on the heavy side and more riff based.
Though not as good as early releases, still I feel like it is better than the previous one albeit slightly.
More on the dark, evil and tragic side, sometimes marching, sometimes folk melodies make it more on the positive side.
Probably, Ýdalir is the most notable track. Unfortunately, nothing strong enough for me to keep.
