I guess, post-metal is closer but hard to say. Feels like avant-garde and psychedelic black sometimes, reminds me of later Enslaved.
Despite being Lifelover successor it is nothing like it.
My impression: shapeless and directionless. Something is playing, it is constantly changing but it never creates complete picture or composition.
Variety is nice, saxophone fits, overall idea is interesting but it doesn't work for me.
