Not sure about technical death, maybe progressive is better. Also, some symphonic influences.
For me, it is a technicality for the sake of technicality.
Almost constant blast-beating and complex riffing don't make songs brighter, expressive or memorable.
Good sound, well-polished but no distinction between tracks. Just goes through my head.
Awesome album cover though.
